LYDIA THIDE

I am an integrative counsellor, who is BACP registered, with experience in a range of settings, and I have had the pleasure of working with many different people. Being integrative in my approach enables me to offer a therapeutic relationship where we can explore different experiences, both past and present, and work to understand how these impact your life now. The counselling relationship needs to be safe, where trust can develop, and I work in a way that offers empathy and respect, while we explore your feelings and issues.

I have much experience in working with neurodivergence, and understanding of some of the struggles that come with this. Other issues that I work with include stress and anxiety, depression, low mood, bereavement, anger, low self-esteem, substance misuse, and relationship difficulties, among many others.

My fees are £65 for a 50 minute session and there are some concessions available, which can be discussed when we arrange our initial session.

I have a BA (Hons) integrative-relational degree, as well as training in understanding autism, substance awareness, and mental health awareness. I work with adults aged 18+, and facilitate both long-term and short-term work.

I look forward to hearing from you.
