CHIEDZA MUGOMBA

I am an integrative therapist with experience in the charity sector, NHS and now working privately. I can offer short-term, long-term, or open-ended counselling and psychotherapy. I work with adults over the age of 18 years old. I have experience of helping people with a range of problems and concerns, including depression, anxiety, stress and burn out, traumatic experiences, and relationship difficulties.

As an integrative therapist I see each client as unique individual. I will be open and transparent about the therapeutic approach that underpins our work together. I always work relationally, which means that I focus on our relationship being one where you can feel at ease talking about your experiences that have led you to seek out therapy. I believe that when you can voice your thoughts and feelings without inhibition or constraint it creates the conditions where you can make sense of your difficulties and how you wish to move forward in your life.

I am registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and am trained in Counselling Psychology to master’s level. I continue my professional development by working towards a doctorate in Counselling Psychology.

My fees are £50 for an initial consultation and £65 for ongoing sessions.
