About Me
Hi, I’m Ashling – a BACP-registered integrative psychotherapist. I offer a warm, down-to-earth space where you can feel safe to explore what’s going on beneath the surface. My path into psychotherapy was shaped by my own experience as a client, through loss and change, therapy helped me reconnect with myself and move through life with more clarity and compassion. That same kind of space is what I now offer to others.
Who I Work With
I welcome people from all walks of life who are looking for a space to be heard, understood, and supported. Clients often come to me during times of transition, or when experiencing a feeling of being lost or stuck. Many are navigating issues around self-esteem, relationships,
people-pleasing, anxiety or grief, and are seeking a stronger sense of who they are.
How I Work
My approach is integrative, which means I draw from different therapeutic models to suit your individual needs. At the core of my work is the belief that therapy is a space to reconnect with yourself, gently and honestly.
I work relationally, drawing on psychodynamic,
humanistic, and parts-based approaches, and I often incorporate body-awareness methods when appropriate.
Together, we explore the parts of you that may have been pushed aside or silenced, and build greater self-awareness, compassion and choice. I aim to offer a calm and steady presence as we work through things at your pace.
