Training and Experience
I am a UKCP accredited psychotherapist and a certified sensorimotor psychotherapist. Sensorimotor psychotherapy is a talking therapy that draws upon the body’s natural wisdom to address emotional and psychological challenges. This method recognises that our experiences, beliefs, and traumas are often held within the body as well as the mind. Through this body-oriented approach, I support individuals over the age of 18 to process a wide range of emotional and relationship difficulties, helping them reconnect with themselves and find new ways of coping.

Who I work with
People seek out psychodynamic and sensorimotor psychotherapy for many different reasons. These approaches have been especially helpful for those dealing with:
anxiety, panic attacks, relationship problems, and trauma—including medical trauma, childhood trauma and complex trauma. Sensorimotor psychotherapy is also effective in supporting people through family issues, loss, bereavement, depression, work-related stress, and low self-worth, as it helps integrate both bodily sensations and emotional experiences
I have worked in the charitable sector and currently work in private practice.

How I Work
My aim is to offer a safe and supportive framework where you can explore difficult feelings and experiences. Sensorimotor psychotherapy provides practical tools to notice and work with how these issues are held in the body, allowing for gentle release and transformation.

The relationship between therapist and client is central to the therapeutic process. At our initial appointment, you will have the opportunity to discuss your concerns and see how sensorimotor methods might help you, giving you a sense of how we could work together towards your goals.

Sensorimotor psychotherapy enables us to explore and understand how your beliefs, emotions, patterns of behaviour, and trauma are embodied, opening up new possibilities for healing and self-awareness through mindful attention to the body.

Qualifications:
I have a Postgraduate Diploma in Psychodynamic Theory and Practice from WPF therapy in London.

I am an accredited member of the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy and a member of the Foundation for Psychotherapy and Counselling.
